They just keep on singing – what began as a small singing performance at their own graduation party in Kiel in 1986 led to five national barbershop championship titles and took TAKE FOUR to the United States (Miami and Nashville) and the United Kingdom, among other places. And true to the North German principles of ‘nothing comes from nothing’ and ‘headwinds shape character’, TAKE FOUR guides its audience through its current anniversary programme ‘An Norbert denken!’ (Think of Norbert!) with its unmistakable a cappella sound and plenty of irresistible humour. The full-length programme includes close harmony compositions from the barbershop and jazz genres, as well as pop standards and pieces by the Comedian Harmonists.
