Nathan Ogg

Director, vocal coach and BHS certified singing judge

Nathan Ogg is an experienced director, educator and organisational leader known for his work in jazz, folk, American songbook and a cappella traditions. He studied voice at Capital University and choral conducting at Ohio State University, later earning a degree in organisational leadership from Purdue University. Nathan has been active in the barbershop community since 2000 and has competed internationally with both quartets and choruses. He won gold with the Music City Chorus and placed in the top 20 with the Harmonic Thunder Quartet in 2022. He is currently the director of the River Blend Mixed Chorus, a certified master director with Sweet Adelines International, and a singing judge with BHS. In addition to his work on the podium, Nathan is a respected vocal coach and lecturer who regularly leads workshops throughout North America. Through his consulting work, he supports arts organisations worldwide in areas such as education, public relations, leadership development and organisational health.
