Quartettwerkstatt
Quartettwerkstatt is a weekend full of quartet singing, coachings and workshops for all ages. It offers both newcomers and experienced quartet singers an opportunity to try new things and develop their craft in a safe environment.
Quartettwerkstatt takes place every one to two years, the next one will be from 18.03. to 21.03.2027 in DJH Jugendherberge (youth hostel) Lauterbach in Hessen.
Registration will open in November 2026. Sign up to the newsletter to be informed when signup opens, as well as to stay up to date on other event details!
Agenda
All participants prepare for two quartet songs in advance of the event (and optionally two additional songs), which will be sung and coached together during Quartettwerkstatt. To get to know each other and get comfortable, we will first all sing the songs together, followed by singing in octets to prepare for quartet singing while resolving any uncertainties.
After this point, participants can form quartets on their own or be assigned to one. Participants can take part in multiple coachings with potentially different quartets and coaches with different expertise. Besides coachings, participants can choose from a variety of workshops all about (quartet) singing and barbershop, as well as put their experiences into practice during the open stage evening in a relaxed atmosphere.
