Munster Mix is a mixed barbershop chorus based in West Cork, Ireland, rehearsing weekly in Bandon. Founded in 2018 and directed by Cherry Hartshorn, the chorus benefits from Cherry’s extensive experience in barbershop leadership and musical direction. Since its formation, Munster Mix has grown to 44 members drawn from a wide range of backgrounds across West Cork and beyond, united by a shared commitment to musical excellence and ensemble singing.

Munster Mix is an a cappella chorus with a strong barbershop foundation, complemented by a repertoire that also embraces gospel and jazz styles. The chorus is an active participant on the competitive barbershop stage, performing regularly at national and international events. In 2024, Munster Mix achieved Gold in the Mixed Chorus category at the Irish Association of Barbershop Singers (IABS) Convention in Killarney, reflecting the ensemble’s continued artistic development and high performance standards.
