Erster Kölner Barbershop Chor

We are pioneers: we have been bringing four-part a cappella sound to Germany since 1987. As the first German barbershop male chorus, we know exactly how to make chords ring—and we do so with a healthy dose of Cologne warmth.

Who we are

We are a colorful bunch of tenors, leads, baritones, and basses who have one thing in common: our passion for harmonies that are guaranteed to give you goosebumps. Whether at Cologne's legendary Senftöpfchen Theater, as finalists in the WDR competition "Best Chorus in the West", or on the stages of  BinG! Championships – we love the spotlight and the musical challenge.

Triple power at the top

Our chorus is now in the capable hands of a dedicated trio from within our own ranks. Three experienced chorus members form our musical leadership team and, with a lot of passion, expertise, and a pinch of humor, ensure that we continue to develop musically.
