Crucible Vocal Project is from Sheffield, UK, drawing its members from the three single-gender barbershop choruses in Sheffield - the name of the chorus references the city's history of world-class steel production and the fact that the chorus is a "melting pot" of choruses!
The chorus was formed in 2022 and first entered the UK National Mixed Chorus Contest in 2024, winning a gold medal and going on to compete at the European Barbershop Convention held in Sweden in 2025.
