For all those from Düsseldorf and the surrounding area who don't know our choir yet and of course for all our fans: we are looking forward to the wonderful acoustics of the Eller Schlosskirche.
About us: for 20 years now, you have been hearing weekly barbershop sounds in Erkrath when the ladies of MissHarmony meet under the direction of Martin Falke, who harmoniously combines lots of tones, timbres and sheet music to a four-part a-cappella singing. The choir rehearses Barbershop songs with a lot of fun and energy in order to let their abilities be heard in Erkrath/Düsseldorf or even further away. The predominantly English repertoire contains songs and evergreens from musicals, jazz, swing and pop, arranged in a variety of ways. Barbershop? This is four-part a-cappella singing in which all voices, whether high or low, powerful or reserved, find the right place in the chord so that the overtones can sound. Choir director Martin Falke doesn't just pay attention to the right notes, dynamics, rhythm and a bit of choreography are also part of it.
